Theology isn’t just for studying; theology is a way of learning what it means to live in the family of God. We started wondering a few years ago: where do we have intentional, extended conversations about how to live together in the family of God? Where can we bring questions to the Table, refine our ideas, and be challenged to learn from people who are practicing these things well?

That curiosity gave rise to Tabl•Ed–a journey through 6 workshops per year that bring us together around tables to learn how to live together as the family of God. It’s almost like a “seminary for laypeople,” a space to explore topics that impact all of us as we live out everyday discipleship.

Current Session: Cultivating Life in the Spirit – Rev. Dr. Judy Crossman

Synopsis: Often religion can be epitomized by someone who believes the right stuff and does the right stuff (at least most of the time). But is this the extent of the Spirit-filled life? In this course, we’ll explore God’s invitation for humanity to “cultivate the soil” (Gen 2:5) and see our lives and work as God’s primary design to create good and safe places of community, edification, and love, participating in God’s present work of bringing heaven to earth. We’ll talk about how our daily life can bear good fruit in our homes, relationships, our work, and every place we bring ourselves to.

Upcoming Session: “How Do I Share the Good News?” Dr. DJ Coleman
