Year End Financial Report

I am pleased to report that as of February 23, approximately $2.79 million dollars in pledges has been received toward the WhatsNext? Campaign. Of the amount that has been pledged, just over $931,000 has been received so far. If you have not yet made a pledge and would like to, please fill out a pledge card and leave it with the front office or drop it in the offering plate. If you would prefer to make your pledge online, you may do so at https://collegewes.com/campaign/ and click on “Pledge Your Support.” You may also use this link to set up recurring gifts toward the fulfillment of your pledge online by clicking on “Give to the Campaign” and designating your gift as “WhatsNext? Capital Campaign.” Also, please make sure to verify your pledge and any gifts that you may have made in 2019 on your giving statement. If you have an email listed with us in MyCWC, you should have received an email in the middle of January with a link to retrieve your statement. If you do not have an email listed in MyCWC, a paper giving statement was mailed to the address we have on file.

Speaking of last year, year-end (12/31) giving in total was nearly $100,000 less than what it has been in the past few years, meaning that we ended the 2019 calendar year budget positive, or just under a percent ahead of budgeted giving. With year-end giving being low compared to prior years, we have gone into the last four months of the fiscal year with little margin to carry us through to the end of the year. As of February 23, we are almost $115,000 behind budgeted giving for the year. I anticipate that we will end up behind our budgeted giving target by the end of the fiscal year if our present trends continue. Would you join me in prayerfully reviewing your giving and help us continue to steward our ministries as we approach the end of the fiscal year?

Church Financial Update

With just a few weeks left in our fiscal year (ending April 30, 2020), you can see we continue to be behind budget.
