Description: Community Life is a dynamic class of adults varying significantly in age, occupation, and personality., that uses a list of seven questions to discuss the message of the day, diving deeper and discovering how God wants to apply His Truth in their lives. They also share praises and prayer requests and pray together, and are great at caring for and shepherding one another.
Concepts in Christian Living | The Chapel
Description: Concepts in Christian Living explores, in depth, the message from the week. They do this primarily through lecture and discussion. Members have the chance to learn and provide feedback on the sermon and respond to questions. While the majority of this class is over 50, they gladly welcome collegians and young adults to join their “faith family.”
Get Connected | Conference Room 117
Description: Led by Tim & Tracey Steenbergh, this is a diverse group in both age and life experiences who gather to discuss the sermon and application to life.
The Journey | Room 122/124
Description: In this class, there is a good mix of singles and married couples. It’s a discussion class that tackles faith application at home and at work, and is led by Ron and Jil Mazellan.
Sermon Application | Hospitality Room
Description: Join with others and unpack the day’s sermon. Discusses sermon, led by Steve Conrad. The class is open to all who desire to apply the principles of the day’s preaching.

Description: The Word Alive group is co-led by Bud Bence and Beth Pocock
In It Together | House of Hope
Description: Jenny Kreitzer, this is a group of those who are focused on being intentional parents at various stages.
Holy Disagreement | 1:15pm |
Description: This group facilitates difficult conversations that are important to the Body of Christ (but that we often avoid because talking about them surfaces disagreement that feels like an obstacle to our ability to love). This group meets once a month for 2 hours in the church.
Keesling Small Group | 6pm
Description: This small group has one foot in the scripture and the other in contemporary life, all in the environment of a caring group of people committed to following Christ. We are using the Lectio Divina study guide of the Book of Acts for our bi-monthly gathering at the church on Sunday (2nd & 4th Sundays) evenings at 6pm. We have great conversations, great study, and are building rich relationships along the way. Childcare is always provided.
Intergenerational Group | 6pm
Description: Sermon-Talkback/sermon text discussion, meeting at homes in Marion! Includes young adults and young parents in Marion.
Women’s Small Group | 6pm
Description: This group is made up of women from different generations and any age is welcome. Meets twice per month on Mondays, except through summer! Currently studying “What if Jesus Was Serious About Prayer by Skye Jethani.
Men’s Breakfast Group | 8am
Description: This group is made up of men who meet each week at Train Station Cafe in Downtown Marion.
Young Adult Group | 7pm
Description: This group focuses around Scripture and sermon application, and is mostly made up of young adults (some married, some unmarried) who have made Marion their home. Group meets weekly in rotating houses throughout Marion.
Women’s Bible Study | 10am
Description: This group meets every Wednesday at 10am in room 119. They are studying the book “Finding God Faithful”, by Kelly Minter.
Bible Study | 6:30pm
Description: Long-standing Bible study that meets at CWC, and rotates through specific parts of the Bible – mostly senior adults who love intergenerational connections!
Mens Prayer Group | 7am
Description: Intergenerational group of men that meet at Baldwin Dining Hall for breakfast and prayer on the 3rd Thursday of the month
