KFC Camp
This camp is for incoming 4th-6th graders from June 1st-June 4th. It is held at Pokagon State Park in Angola, Indiana. The students stay in cabins, create memories with their peers, listen to a speaker and get to participate in five different classes throughout their time at camp while they experience God in the great outdoors!
Cost: $150
Three Fires
This camp is for incoming 7th-9th grade from June 4th-7th. (We are highly encouraging 9th grade students to participate in the Freshman Camp later in the summer, however if they want to do both that is great too!). This camp is also held at Pokagon State Park in Angola, Indiana. These campers will also stay in cabins and create memories with their peers, as they have their classes and listen to their own speaker and worship together.

Freshman Trip
This trip, for incoming freshmen, is focused on reflecting on the past four years while looking forward to the next four years of high school. This trip will happen at the end of the summer, and more information will be forthcoming!
Adventure Trip
This summer from June 19th-25th, our high school students will have the opportunity to take part in our Adventure Trip to the Smoky Mountains, where we will serve alongside Church of the Cove, a growing church located near the foothills of the Smoky Mountains. Students will partner with the local church and its community, helping support the ministry and seeing how God is at work in a different context than their own. This portion of the trip is focused on service, humility, and learning what it looks like to love and serve others well.
Following our time of service, we will spend several days camping in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. During this portion of the trip, students will hike, swim, share meals, and spend evenings around the campfire together. These days are designed to create space away from normal routines and distractions, allowing students to build relationships with one another, engage in teaching and conversation, and reflect on their faith while experiencing God’s creation.

Once you sign up for camp a packing list will be emailed to you as we get closer to camp!
We have an amazing team of adults and students that serve at camp. Each adult is background certified and they are the ones that lead activities, games, and oversee our camps. We have a nurse on site that is available 24/7. And every cabin has two counselors either college students or high school students who are vetted by the College Wesleyan Staff. Your camper is in good hands for their time at camp.
We have a team of adults that have been cooking for campers for years. They do an amazing job of creating a great menu, and if your child has any allergies or food aversions you will need to let us know in the camp form that you will fill out before coming to camp!
Every camper will have their own twin sized bed in a cabin that has 5-6 beds. They will be placed in a cabin that will be their group for the week! Bring either bedding for a twin bed, or a sleeping bag to sleep in.
In the form you will fill out before camp, you can have cabin suggestions. We try to always pair your camper with someone they asked to be in the same cabin with.
For campers who are with KidsHope there will be transportation. For every other camper, they will need to be picked up and dropped off at the Group Campsite at Pokagon State Park.
On the camp sign up form, you will be prompted to pay by Card or Cash/Check. We prefer card if that is possible. Cash/check is due at camp drop off.
If you are using JCB student account funds, select “cash/check” on the form. If you have enough money in your account to cover the cost of camp, you’re set. If you can only cover a portion of camp, you will need to pay for the remaining amount via card, cash, or check.
Check should be made out to College Wesleyan Church with “camp” in the memo.
